At Gibbs, Admissions is more than just a department or a process. It is an entry to a career-focused education and a support system to carry you through your studies—and through your life.

Since an education is yours for life, Gibbs believes that getting started should be a seamless and positive experience. Once you contact Gibbs, the Admissions team invites you in for an appointment to learn more about the school and see what we have to offer.

When you come in you will have a chance to sit down with an Admissions representative who will gather more information about your skills, interests and educational needs. This information will help you learn more about programs that will maximize your career potential. In addition, your representative can give you more specific information about your chosen academic department, such as requirements and courses.

You also will be introduced to a Career Services coordinator. The Career Services department will provide you with field-specific information within a chosen academic program—such as career options and the job market.

Your appointment will include a tour of the school and its facilities. You may see areas such as: the Library, labs, academic departments, student lounges and the resource center. Other school services and benefits will be reviewed with you too. These may include extra-curricular activities and the peer tutoring program.

As a prospective student, you are encouraged to bring family and friends to tour the campus with you. These significant people in your life—along with the Gibbs’ team are important in your final decision-making process.
